PAOLA BARI  - Painted Porcelain

Paola Bari porcelain painter

I have been painting on porcelain since my teenage years, developing and integrating traditional overglaze painting with new techniques and materials. Most of my work has leveraged the entire palette of the overglaze colors, with

the addition of precious metals and lusters, based on repetition and patterns. I like the idea of repetitive elements because that is what determines the pace and the balance of the finished work. Repetition combined with patterns makes the work of art alive and creates unity within the work of art.
